The Oil and Gas Pipeline Surveillance and Anti-Cultism (OSPAC) has denied involvement in the alleged extra-judicial killing of a man identified as Chibuzor Oguh, popularly known as Royal, in Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.
In a public notice dated October 5, 2026, OSPAC National Public Relations Officer, Comr. Godknows Egbo Nkem, stated that the individual involved in the incident, Felix Chisa Dibia, was not acting on behalf of OSPAC at the time.
According to the statement, Dibia, described as a hunter, was reportedly carrying out a personal duty when he allegedly accosted Oguh at about 2:20 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2026, in Omoku.
OSPAC stressed that whatever transpired between the two men should not be attributed to the organisation.
🚨 OSPAC Hands Suspect Over to Police
The statement further disclosed that OSPAC General Commander, Felix Nwaobakata, has handed Felix Chisa Dibia over to the police.
OSPAC also called on the authorities to expedite their investigation and establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The organisation urged members of the public to disregard what it described as misinformation circulating on social media concerning the matter.
OSPAC maintained that it operates within the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and works alongside conventional security agencies to protect lives and property across ONELGA.

As investigations continue, the circumstances surrounding the death of Chibuzor Oguh are expected to be established by the relevant authorities.
